Introducing a Local Legend: Izzy of Unholy Promotions

At our venue, we’ve had the honor of hosting some wild shows and unforgettable nights. But when it comes to someone who has built something real in our music scene, there’s no one quite like Izzy of Unholy Promotions.

Izzy of Unholy Promotions

If you’ve ever been to Metal in the Meadow or the iconic Punk in the Pasture, then you’ve felt the ripple of what Izzy brings to life. She’s not just a booker. She’s a powerhouse. She’s a connector. And she’s been on this mission since she was a teenager.

“When the rest of my family was watching movies or playing video games I was spending hours upon hours searching music to downloading and burning CDs. LimeWire was a girl’s best friend.”
That early obsession didn’t fade. It fueled a fire.

She landed her first job at 13 working in a bar with live music every weekend. “I was so into it I knew that was something I wanted to be a part of.” And when the time came, she didn’t wait for a green light. She made her own. “When I finally was on my own and able to support my own dreams I decided to do just that. Find and book every band I possibly could.”

That first show? In a friend’s backyard. Now? Up to 70 shows a year. Bands from all over the US.

And a legacy of events that give metal and punk artists real stages and real fans.

Unholy Promotions started about six years ago, and since then, Izzy has turned DIY passion into a serious force in Appleton, Green Bay, and beyond. “It hasn’t stopped.”

For those of us who run venues, working with someone like Izzy is a gift. She’s organized. She’s passionate. She brings people together in a way that makes music feel like a homecoming. Her shows are more than sets on a stage. They’re moments. They’re memories. They matter.

Thank you Izzy for showing up, for sticking with it, and for loving this scene loud and proud. You remind us why we do this in the first place.
